What is involved?

Each course consists of theory training, a theory examination and a practical assessment.

The main focus of the supervised theory  training is on workplace safety and I concentrate on preparing the student for the written examination as this is a 'closed book' assessment. All questions must be answered correctly for the student to be deemed competent.

Each course cost differs depending on course length, hire of machines etc. For prices please e-mail stan@stanwrightenterprises.com.au or phone me on 0407 165 751 or 07 4946 7854.

Student Requirements

Students must be over 18 years of age when under taking their practical assessment.

Students are to bring full safety gear to be worn when operating equipment during the practical sessions.

A log book or a letter on a company letterhead stating past experience and approximate machine hours, signed by a person in authority, must be produced before a student can be assessed practically. For those without practical experience, after passing your theory examination, you can be placed on a logbook training plan. After gaining experience a practical assessment can then take place. For all loadshifting tickets there is a nominal 40 hours operational experience required.

Some plant operator training and acquiring of log book times can be arranged through my RTO. Please ask.

Course Locations

Course locations are dictated by the number of students and access to appropriate machinery for practical assessment. The next course may not be in your locality but it could be nearby. Please e-mail or phone your name, contact details and the course/s that you are interested in to have your name placed on a register of interest.
